This is the best post I’ve read in a good long while (and even rivals some of mine).

As far as I saw, there are many people who don’t read newspapers, if they do, they will recognize some of these american cartoonists. Furthermore, if we only could read the text overprinted on some cartoons we could recognize some of our american famous newspapers there. As far as we saw, many newspapers and magazine are closing, out of business, and you see now WHY… no body read them… I still have the hope this country invest in education one day… thanks

Most of these are American – check the names of the papers and the artists.

All of these cartoons appeared either in American newspapers or on the Internet. None are Australian. Well, a few are not identifiable, but all of the ones with artist names and/or newspaper names are American (Devereaux publishes on the internet, I don’t know his nationality).

So, the cartoons are one thing, but the “Australian” thing is bogus.

I don’t care where they came from or who drew them, they are freaking awesome! So it is not just Rush, Sean, and Glenn who think this way? WOW!
